HUDSON FIREWORKS: PRESERVE, SUPPORT, CELEBRATE

The Hudson Fireworks will return in July! At its meeting in January, the Hudson Community Foundation is spearheading this effort and is excited at working with the entire Hudson community and all its citizens. Hopefully you have read the recent announcement in the Hudson Hub Times and will agree to work with us to make this annual event a certainty for years to come.

The fireworks have been a community highlight for more than 30 years.

The Hudson Community Foundation is currently working hand in hand with the City of Hudson and American Fireworks and has set the date for Saturday, July 5 (raindate July 6). The 2008 Hudson Fireworks is the second annual Fireworks produced by the Hudson Community Foundation.

The mission of the Hudson Community Foundation is “to enrich Hudson forever”. The Foundation supports numerous causes in Hudson and is particularly proud to partner with you and also support this event. The Foundation has committed to a $15,000 leadership gift and is asking every business and every resident to embrace this opportunity and ensure that fireworks in Hudson continue for many years to come. Our ultimate goal is to endow this cherished event and make it self-sustaining. All excess funds raised this year will be placed into the Hudson Fireworks Endowment Fund.

The fireworks have always been a time to showcase the community, enjoy family and friends, and celebrate. Your support will be critical to our success and is an opportunity for you to make a difference in Hudson. Please make your check out to Hudson Community Foundation – Fireworks. An envelope is enclosed for your convenience.

Celebrate, Support, and Preserve Hudson Fireworks!
