Director Added to Hudson
Community Foundation Board

Arlene Grohl, a long time
resident of Hudson
has joined the Board at Hudson Community Foundation. Founder and Chief
Executive Bill Wooldredge made the announcement at the August 9 Operations
Committee Meeting.
Grohl, who lives on Simon Road, was
quoted as saying, “I am pleased and excited to join a group with vision and
goals for the enrichment of the community. The morale and commitment of all the
members is a pleasure to see”.
Grohl is a career teacher, so
she is no stranger to the needs of young adults. Her own education includes a
B.S. in English and a Masters in Library and Information Science.
Active in the community, she
advises Hudson Job Search and has served Case-Barlow Farm as executive
director. Finally, she is academic counselor at University of Akron,
and has done community fund raising, tutoring and some free-lance grant
writing. She is the proud mother of children Sara and Brian.
